What do you believe about angels? What do you think they are? How did you learn about angels? Do you have any questions?

I am a priest and have only gotten into angels in the last 10 or so years.
Now, I understand that I have never been without them, but everything comes in the right time.
I was approached by 3 separate groups to lead 3 different workshops about angels -- out of the blue! The little old ladies of the Anglican Church Women; a renewed group of Christian women for whom I would be a weekend chaplain and another group asked me in the same week -- independently! And suddenly, I was getting gifts of angels, and angel cards and angel books... Coincidence? Well, I have learned that there really is no such thing.
And so, my journey with researching and finding out more about the angels began. I was always interested in the metaphysical world and various kinds of divination.
I guess my whole worldview expanded when I learned Therapeutic Touch. Learning about energy healing and chakras and all kinds of interesting and exotic sounding things was a real eyeopener. And, once I experienced energy and the ways it could assist people, I saw the world in a whole different light.
In hindsight, that prepared me to take angels seriously. Everything happens in baby steps.
So, yes, I believe in angels. I talk to them. I hear them. I have experienced some remarkable insights and had my mind bent by them. LOL There is always more to learn... They take their time with me. They are patient!
Cheers,
Deb

How could I not?
Born into a traditional Roman Catholic family, I am sure as an infant I learned to focus my eyes on the guardian angel medal at the foot of my crib.
As a child, I was taught that the angels were always with me. "Make friends with your angel," they said. So I did.
In my innocence, I expected angels to respond and wasn't surprised when they did.
So for me angels have always been as real as sunrise, or the change of seasons. As I've gotten older, my relationship with the angels has deepened and they have helped me, inspired me, comforted me and taught me.
I can't imagine life without the angels.
Jean

I believe in angels in a religious sense but also on a personal level. Little Celeste was premature and only lived 45 minutes. I still believe she is my personal angel and watching out for me daily.
Amen

Hi Tutuglenna!
When we were writing the psychic book, I had a reading with a wonderful man named Lawrence Harry. He is a spiritualist medium in BC and truly, a saint of God.
In the reading, he told me that a baby girl was presenting and he took that to mean that I had had a miscarriage. I had lost a baby between my two sons and was surprised that that information would come to him. It was almost 16 years ago, at that point. He told me to the day when the event had happened! I was floored.
The lesson in this is that we contract with one another for our ultimate soul evolution. This little soul had chosen me to be her mom for a very short time as a way to assist her journey. And, while I don't feel her presence with me, I feel very blessed to have helped her, as hard as the whole miscarriage was.
Your little one also chose you to help with her soul evolution, and it feels as though there is a connection between you still. There are so many mysteries about why these things happen, and the pain on this side is a challenge, but to know that her little spirit is free and able to be with you, is comforting, I hope.
Thanks for sharing.

I am new to this forum, but would like to say, I BELIEVE IN ANGELS and they saved my life, I now have given our home to them and have them in every room and outside as well. They come to me from friends, family and even garage sale. Those I call my homeless Angels, I bring them home and they all find a place to live here. I have well over a thousand now and I know more will find their way to me.
A few years ago I was very very unhappy and alot of things lead up to me not wanting to be here anymore, this was all because of a choice I made that just about took me out of this life which also would have been my choice, but
God and My Angels had another plan for me and when I finally realized it was not my time and nothing happened when it should have, well it was then I said, ok! then it is time to show me why I have to stay here. It took a couple months is all, my whole life turned around and changed.
I got a divorce and moved to AZ. not far from Sedona, and my journey started, I saw ANGELS everywhere and it was then I started collecting them, I know they are only a material thing but they have their own energy which shows me everyday, peace and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
I was in AZ for two years and that is where my learning came from, not in the earthly way but Spiritual way, they have taught me TRUTH and LOVE and the way to find myself, who I am and why I am here and most of all why I had to live. So now I am first of all LOVE, then I am a energy healer
I am hear to help God's Children and this earth.
I fight regularly with the negative side which I hate because there is still a lesson I have not quite conquered, but am working on it I still find when I am put into a negative situation I tend to sink into it by retailiating which the nasty words, I hate so much..but the good news is I stop my self almost as soon as I start...so I guess there is still hope. I just have to learn, that when people say those things and get mad and upset, that is where they are and they haven't woke up yet, so my response should be , If your going to speak to me that way then I will say God Bless you, May My Angels Be With You and have a nice day..GOODBYE...Now if I can remember to think.. not react this will become my true way of life, forgiving and Loving and Helping God's children...
This is who I am and Why I believe in ANGELS.
God Bless All of You and May My Angels Be With You.

I think we all battle the temptation to respond to nasty or hurtful words with our own. It's a natural tendancy, I think, so don't beat yourself up about it. Over time, I have found it gets easier to listen to the words and hear what's under them. That undertone, the driving force behind the ugliness, generally helps me to understand rather than do a verbal slice-and-dice on the person.
I wish I could say, "Well, here's what you do....because I **never** give in to that temptation..." but I can't, LOL. I *have* gotten good at apologizing quickly, though!
And of course, it helps to have an angel whispering, "Was that a kind thing to say?" or "Would it be loving to say what you are thinking?" LOL _________________ Never say never.
