One of the things we can do as a group is share those inspirational moments of our life as a way of encouraging each other.

I've (Deb) been under the weather with a cold for a few days. It just isn't the same when you are sick as an adult. I was remembering being home in bed when I was a teen and drinking ginger ale by the tumbler and reading all day long... hot tomato soup and buttered crackers on a tray... AM radio playing my favorite songs.... My mom, who was a nurse, keeping official check of my vitals...

There was such a feeling of being safe and secure, even when I was feeling absolutely dreadful.

If I get quiet, I can recapture that sense of all is well. I just have to remember that I am surrounded by loving angels, who watch out for me and take care of things while I am ill.

I just wish they'd bring me ginger ale...

Wink

I can share a happy memory, but it WILL make me sound like a lunatic.

When I was a child, I lived in Louisiana, where cypress trees grow. There was an old cypress in the back yard of my first childhood home. Cypress trees have an unusual growth habit: their base is hollow! Old cypress trees can have very large hollow openings, big enough for several children or a couple of adults to stand within; ours was a young cypress and the hollow was just big enough for a 5-or-6 year old Jean to stand inside. I loved going inside the tree and feeling as though I was part of it...imagining the birds in the branches and the wind blowing them gently and so on.

I told you it'd make me sound like a lunatic! LOL

I guess I could just say my whole life now. (which is so true) but to pick just one, is the first thing that comes to me, When I was Taken to AZ for 2 years.

My journey started, well maybe not started so I will say my true self and awareness started, the day I first found out who I am and what I am on this earth to do!!!!! I will never forget it, I had went to Sedona on one of my many trips to the vortexs one called Bell Mt. I saw Angels every where I looked and that is when I discovered myself!!!!!

ANGELS ANGELS how I love you
How you've found me and lead me to where I am

Into this life I dropped, only to find I was alone and no one here to lead me along.

When you found me I was a mess and you knew I was off my path, all the way.

You brought me back to life, and lifted me up to God above, He gave me gifts to help all and sent me back to use them all

Blessed I am in life today just because you love me all the way..
So here I am today to tell all about your love and how you helped me from above, I send you UNCONDITIONAL love and bind it together with a great big HUG....

I always have a wonderful feeling when I walk into my local Catholic church during the day when there's no one there. I just sit in quiet, and I feel God's presence there... an unbelievable feeling of joy takes over me so that I'm sometimes close to crying. Then I pray and light one of those electric candles, and I feel uplifted for the rest of the day...

I really miss the real candles instead of those electric ones. I hated it when they switched over in my home parish.
